Sturgeon Bay athletic director Jon Dupuis provided insight into the upcoming spring sports season in a recent interview.

Dupuis first discussed a fundraiser the softball team will host on April 28, with proceeds benefiting Door Cancer for cancer research. Track and field athletes have recently been practicing indoors due to weather conditions, but are looking ahead to an indoor meet at UW-Oshkosh over spring break. Baseball begins next Monday, with participation numbers appearing low, raising questions about whether the program can field a JV team. Girls' soccer will have a new head coach in Shane Olson. Michael Bryfczynski, who coached the girls' golf team last year, will now coach both the boys and girls teams.
