Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol wrestler Spencer Madsen's undefeated run stopped at 48 matches after dropping his semifinal match on Friday.

 

Madsen lost to Mount Horeb's Eli Maier 7-2 to drop to 48-1 on the season, ending an incredible run where technical falls and pins had become the norm.

 

He will wrestle for 3rd place on Saturday.
