After playing nearly 36 minutes on Thursday, it was just the last few seconds that mattered the most in Sturgeon Bay's 55-53 win over Oconto.
Benjamin Ash's three-pointer as time expired proved to be the difference in the game for the Clippers to gain some positive momentum heading into Tuesday's tournament opener at Menominee Indian.
Ash ended up with a game-high 22 points in the win while Jaxzen Bleck added 16 points and Siggy Hansen chipped in 12 points. Mason Colvin paced the Blue Devils with 21 points.
