Clippers girls bit by Panthers in season finale

The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team saw their season come to a close on Tuesday night as they dropped their WIAA Tournament opener to Oconto Falls 79-27.

 

Regan Kasten showed out for the Clippers in the contest, scoring 17 points while making six shots from the field. Cora Frangipiane hit three shots from beyond the arc to finish the game with nine points.

 

"While the season has come to an end, we are proud of the effort, growth, and determination this team showed from start to finish," said first-year head coach Rachel Miller. "Thank you to our seniors, players, coaches, families, and fans for your continued support all year long."
