The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball will try to delay Kewaunee's coronation as the outright Packerland Conference champions when the two teams play each other on Friday.
Ashton Benzinger, Vince Laughlin, and Jaxzen Bleck all scored six points in the first half to pace the Clippers to a 29-19 lead en route to a 48-45 win over Gibraltar earlier this week. Bleck led the Clippers with 12 points, while Siggy Hansen added 10 points and Sam Fruzyna and Laughlin each chipped in eight points.
The hunt for perfection remains alive and well for the Kewaunee Storm, after rolling past Southern Door on Tuesday, with a 69-33 win as heard on 104.1 WRLU. Connor Kilgore led the way with 20 points to pace the Storm, aided by 14 from Diesel Bosdeck, and 10 from Baylor Elliott to round out the double figure scorers.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
