The Sturgeon Bay girls’ basketball team hosted senior night Monday against the Appleton North Lightning. Appleton North opened with a big 45-7 lead at halftime, and the Clippers could not find the momentum to break out of the drought.

Senior Regan Kasten led the Clippers in scoring with seven points, followed by Layla Stai and Makenna Coyhis with two apiece.

The Clippers are now 6-17 and will look to rebound Thursday on the road against the Oconto Blue Devils.
