Clippers girls ride the Lightning Monday

The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team will venture outside of its conference for its matchup on Monday when they play Appleton North. 

 

The Clippers have split their last two games, losing to Kewaunee 68-20 after beating Gibraltar 55-41. Regan Kasten has been a do-it-all player for the Clippers, leading the team in scoring (10.7 ppg) and rebounding (13.7), while also being in the top three for assists (0.9 apg).

 

The Lighning are 3-2 over their last five and 14-7 on the season. Avery Werfal paces the team with 18.7 ppg while Tay Maass chips in another 10.1 ppg.

 

Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
