Clippers girls fall to Indians, hosting Vikings Tuesday

The Sturgeon Bay girls’ basketball team will host the Gibraltar Vikings on Tuesday after falling to Mishicot 47-41 on the road Monday.

 

Regan Kasten paced the Clippers with 13 points, hitting eight shots from the field and keeping the game close with clutch free throws late. Makenna Coyhis also scored 13 points, complementing a key 3-pointer with several strong finishes in the paint.

 

“Proud of the Lady Clippers for fighting every possession and leaving it all on the court,” head coach Rachel Miller said after the game. “This team keeps getting better — the future is bright!”

 

 

The Vikings are coming off a 48-33 loss to Southern Door. Megan Schar led Gibraltar with 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and eight steals. Azucena Jauregui added seven points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

 

Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
