The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team hits the road to open the week with a game at Mishicot.
The Clippers had 10 players score at least one point — including two in double figures — in a 64-35 win over Green Bay East on Thursday. Regan Kasten led all scorers with 21 points, drawing plenty of praise from coach Rachel Miller, who said she was unstoppable. “She attacked the basket, drained shots, cleaned the glass and owned both ends of the floor — a complete performance from start to finish,” Miller said. Prudence Goettelman added 10 points, while Makenna Coyhis and Layla Stai each chipped in seven.
The Indians are 10-11 on the season and are coming off a 51-39 loss to top-ranked St. Mary Catholic. Kensington Rosenow led Mishicot with 19 points, slightly above her season average of 18.7 points per game.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
