Three individual titles and four runner-up finishes helped the Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol wrestling team finish at the top of the Dirk Sorenson Door County Classic leaderboard on Saturday.
Nate Hasenjager (106), Spencer Madsen (175), and Julian Langer (190) all went undefeated to capture titles at their respective weight classes. Anthony Estevez (285), Harrison Schartner (215), Ray Johnson, Jr. (138), and Patrick Shefchik (120) narrowly missed out on gold with 2nd place finishes while six others also placed. It was a special day once again for Madsen, who picked up his 500th career takedown during the day that saw him pick up two pins and two technical falls on addition to winning Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament honors. The team's title was the first won under the guidance of head coach Trevor Hasenjager.
At Friday's Shawano Girls Invitational, Tiani Lemieux led the way as she pinned her way to the finals before finishing in second place.
