The Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol Co-op and Kewaunee wrestling teams are on the road this Thursday for a triangular meet hosted by Oconto. Peshtigo and Suring will also be in attendance. 

SBS’s last outing took place at the Fox Valley Lutheran Invitational. Spencer Madsen again claimed the top spot on the podium and earned Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament honors. Madsen compiled four pins and a tech fall in his five matches. Also placing on the podium for SBS were Nate Hasenjager (106, second), Mason Haen-Lauder (132, third), Ray Johnson Jr. (138, second), and Julian Langer (190, third). 

Kewaunee is coming off a strong performance in a home quad on Monday, winning all three duals. The Storm defeated Marinette 41-36, Manitowoc Lutheran 66-6, and Sturgeon Bay 46-28. Sam Kraynik (106), Mason VanGoethem (160), Trevor Gauthier (157), Tucker Du Fresne (165), and Mitchell Boeder (285) all went undefeated. Gregorio Medina (215), Evan Romero (175), Anakin Reimer (144), Tristan Kjelgaard (126), and Nolan Lambrecht (120) each posted multiple wins.
