The Sturgeon Bay boys’ basketball team travels to face the undefeated Kewaunee Storm on Friday. Kewaunee is the No. 2-ranked Division 4 team in Wisconsin according to MaxPreps and sits atop the Packerland Conference with a 9-0 record.
The Clippers are coming off a 48-39 victory over Two Rivers. Ben Ash led Sturgeon Bay with 20 points, seven rebounds, an assist and a steal. Sam Fruzyna followed with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Siggy Hansen and Rylan Ruedinger each scored five points.
The Storm defeated Brillion 65-49 in their most recent game. Conor Kilgore led Kewaunee with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and two blocks. Dane Harrell narrowly missed a double-double with 16 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. Baylor Elliott added 12 points, four rebounds and an assist. Diesel Bosdeck and Avery Jerabek scored six points apiece.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
