Just 28 points were scored by N.E.W. Lutheran Tuesday night as Sturgeon Bay came out of the gates with intense ball pressure and a strong defensive gameplan. That was combined with a 14 point performance by Regan Kasten helped lead the Clippers to a 50-28 win.
Kasten worked inside the paint all night gathering all 14 points from field goals inside mid-range. And her focus shifted in the second half when she scored all 14 helping lead the team to victory.
In the first half, Cora Frangipane was the leader offensively, putting up 9 of the teams 24.
The Clippers get a strong win improving to 4-9 on the season and will have a big home matchup Friday night at 6 p.m. against Oconto.
