Gibraltar contested Sturgeon Bay early forcing the Clippers to claw their way back into the lead before halftime. Then, the Vikings went on a scoring drought throughout the second half and allowed Sturgeon Bay to pull away for the win 54-45.
Sturgeon Bay led through the first six minutes before the Vikings grabbed a transition layup to a take a 11-10 lead. They controlled until the three minutes when the Clippers tied it at 18 and then took a 20-18 lead on a short jumper.
A 23-18 lead was in favor of Sturgeon Bay at the break and they never trailed again.
The Clippers have now won 3 of their last 4 games and face Two Rivers again at Sturgeon Bay Monday January 12 with a 7 p.m. tip off.
