The Sturgeon Bay Clippers could not keep up with the offensive pace set by their visitors Thursday night as they lost to Peshtigo 59-32.
Head coach Zach Goblisch said that their defense led to good offense in the first half and got them into a good rhythm before foul trouble derailed their efforts. They went into the break down 33-18 and never recovered.
"Credit to Peshtigo as they got great looks and extended the lead from there, but for us, we have to look to fight through those stretches and find ways to adjust on both ends of the floor to get us back on track," Goblisch added.
Benjamin Ash led the Clippers with 15 points with Sam Fruzyna and Jaxzen Bleck each adding five points. The Bulldogs countered with a pair of 20-point performances from Dominik Baxter and Levi Hodgins.
The Clippers return to action Saturday with a non-conference matchup with Denmark at home.
