For the third straIght match, the Sturgeon Bay soccer team needed extra time to advance in the WIAA Division 4 State Tournament, this time beating Arcadia 3-2.

The Clippers struck first in the fourth minute with Jakzen Bleck to make it 1-0 on a blustery night in the Milwaukee. The Raiders ensured there would be more time added in the match when Jerson Sanchez tied the match at 1-1.

 

In overtime, the two teams traded goals again with the Raiders' Christopher Urbina answering the Clippers' tally by Ashton Benzinger. The game-winner game in the 95th minute when Daniel Wienke scored direct from the corner kick to push the Clippers into Saturday's final against Oostburg.

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call from Milwaukee on Saturday on U-102.1 for the 1:30 p.m. match.
