The Door County United Girls High School Swim Team made a big comeback from last week with their first place win at the Shawano Sprints All Conference meet.
The team collectively scored 262 points, with New London coming in second at 253 points. The team had at least one top five finish in each event for the evening.
Top finishes for the evening included first place in the 200 Medley Relay consisting of Quinn Sperber (SDHS), Hazel Monfils (SDHS), Chloe Bissen (SBHS), and Kailyn Neville (SDHS). Bissen and Monfils also both finished 2nd in their individual events, with Chloe in the 100 yard Individual Medley and Hazel in the 50 yard Breaststroke.
Senior Bre Anderson (SEV) also had some strong finishes in both the 100 yard Individual Medley, where she dropped nearly ten seconds, and the 50 yard Freestyle to earn 6 points for the team. Her
The conference meet is Thursday, October 30th at Clintonville High School. There are currently many teams in contention for the conference title and it will be a battle until the end for all teams.
