It was a physical battle for the last regular season home game for Sturgeon Bay soccer team against the Algoma Wolves on Thursday evening with the Clippers securing the 2-0 win.

The Clippers opened the scoring Daniel Wienke tallying his goal in the 7th minute off a cross from Finn Stevenson. Fifty-five minutes later in the 62nd minute, it was Aiden Bensinger finding the back of the net with the assist going to Joni Ismaili.

The Clippers will start their playoff run next Thursday against the winner of the Gresham/Bowler v. Green Bay NEW Lutheran match on U-102.1 with coverage starting at 6:45pm. The Wolves open at home against Wrightstown.
