The Sturgeon Bay soccer team continued its hot streak on the road on Friday night, shutting out the Seymour Thunder 3-0.
Daniel and Zone Wienke put the Clippers ahead in the first half with goals before Finn Stevenson added an insurance tally in the second half.
With 12 shots on goal and an 8-0 edge in corner kicks, Head Coach Todd Maas was happy with the opportunities his squad was able to generate and credited the Thunder's goalkeeper with making several strong saves. "I thought the boys played a pretty solid game," Maas said after the game. "Now we rest up this weekend, and hit it hard first thing next week and get ready for the final push."
