The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans golf team is hosting a tournament this Wednesday at the Northbrook Country Club. The Spartans are inviting schools such as Sturgeon Bay, Bonduel, Freedom, Marinette, Oconto, and Oconto Falls. The Spartans are coming off a third-place finish at their conference meet. Leading the way for the Spartans was sophomore Brielle Snowberry, who shot an 89. Behind her was junior Reese Bandow, with a 99. Other finishers were Sophomore Chloe Treml, who shot a 102, junior Averi Buresh with a 104, and freshman Laney Treml, who posted a 116. Meanwhile, the Sturgeon Bay Clippers are coming off a conference invitational at Shawano’s home course. Senior Keira Wesley led the Clippers with a fourth-place overall by shooting a 97. Junior Hayden Montevideo shot a 110, while junior Maria Neri carded a 118, and junior Talia Schmidt finished with a 122.
