The Door County United (DCU) Girls High School Swim Team placed second overall at the Notre Dame Academy Invite on September 20th, 2025.
The team scored 106 points, edging out Edgerton Evansville by 2 points for second place.
The seniors on the team all had phenomenal performances. Breanna Anderson (SEV) placed 9th in the 200-yard Freestyle, dropping approximately 7 seconds from her overall best time. Additionally, she contributed to the team score with her 7th-place finish in the 100-yard Butterfly. Kailyn Neville (SDHS) finished 1st overall in the 200-yard Freestyle, contributing 10 points to the overall team score. She also finished 3rd in the 100-yard Breaststroke. Chloe Bissen (SBHS) finished 3rd in the 50-yard Freestyle and 4th in the 500-yard Freestyle.
The relays also contributed many points to the overall team score. DCU finished 1st in the 200 yard Medley Relay (Quinn Sperber (SDHS), Hazel Monfils (SDHS), Bissen, Shaeffer Rass (SEV)), 3rd in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay (Monfils, Jillian Peterson (SDHS), Bissen, Neville), and 3rd in the 400 yard Freestyle Relay (Rass, Anderson, Sperber, Neville).
The team will travel to New London High School for a dual meet on Thursday, September 25th, followed by an additional road meet on Saturday, September 27th, at Plymouth High School.
