The Sturgeon Bay girls' golf team is set to compete in its next match on Tuesday at the Wander Springs Golf Course, which serves as Shawano's home course. They will face Bonduel, Fox Valley Lutheran, New London, Oconto, Seymour, Winneconne, and Xavier. In their previous outing at the Golden Sands Golf Community, the Clippers delivered a solid performance, securing a commendable third-place finish with a team score of 216 points. The team's success was spearheaded by senior Keira Wesley, who led the charge with an impressive round of 46 strokes. Following her strong showing was junior Hayden Montevideo, who shot a score of 54. Juniors Maria Neri and Talia Schmidt also played key roles, shooting a 56 and a 60, respectively. Rounding out the team's efforts was senior Layla Stai, who finished with a 76. The team aims to build on this momentum and continue their strong play in the upcoming match.
