Clippers soccer calm Storm on U-102.1

It was clear sailing for the Sturgeon Bay soccer team on Monday as they beat Kewaunee 8-0 on its home pitch.

The Clippers never allowed the Storm a chance to settle in, scoring three goals in the first 18 minutes of the match. While head coach Todd Maas thought the team played better in matches last week, he was happy that some of their reserve players got meaningful minutes in the contest. Three of the players (JJ Olson, Calvin Langfeldt, and Ashton Benzinger) scored their first goals on the varsity level against the Storm.  Daniel Wienke's brace led the way while Aiden B., Finn Stevenson, and Jaxzen B. also scored goals for the Clippers. Their next matchup comes on Thursday when they travel to Green Bay for a 4:30 p.m. match against NEW Lutheran.
