Sturgeon Bay Volleyball Continues Development

The Sturgeon Bay varsity volleyball team competed in the Seymour Quad Tuesday, their third tournament of the young season, and showed signs of continued growth against a challenging field.

After falling in straight sets to Pulaski (18-25, 18-25) and Little Chute (17-25, 19-25), the Clippers pushed Seymour to three sets. They opened strong with a 25-19 win, dropped the second set 6-25, and narrowly came up short in the third 11-15.

Coach Mary Harrington noted the strides her team is making. “While the results didn’t all go our way, the team continues to build chemistry and push forward as the season gains momentum.” Sturgeon Bay now shifts focus to their conference opener Thursday at Oconto.
