Sturgeon Bay had its first cross-country meet of the season today, hosted by Gibraltar High School. The athletes competed at the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and open race (middle school) levels in the Chief K Invitational meet. We have a record number of high school runners on our cross-country team this year, so we received both a men’s and women’s team score. The Varsity girls came in 5th place, and the Varsity boys came in 7th place, with Delaney Skiba placing 5th overall for the women’s race.
