The Sturgeon Bay Girls Golf team started its season this week and participated in two meets. On Thursday, we hosted our home conference meet at Cherry Hills Golf and Lodge. The course played tough, but our resilient players fought through and had a satisfactory finish for their first meet of the year. 

On Friday, we participated in a scramble invite in Oconto at Irish Greens. The girls were paired with a teammate and competed against other area schools. Two of our groups tied for second place. Those groups consisted of Maria Neri and Tiani LeMieux and Keira Wesley and Layla Stai. Clippers golf returns to action on Tuesday at a conference match in Oconto.
