Seymour got a goal in both halves to defeat Sturgeon Bay 2-0 on Thursday night.
“Seymour is a quality team and a D3 school," Desotelle said post-match. "They outshot us 15 to 1, but our defense played one heck of a game, and our keeper, Izabella Jimenez Seyfer, had 18 saves, and some were pretty spectacular. This game was a good warm-up for next week's tournament match-up against New Holstein.”
Next up for the Clippers is Pius High School from Milwaukee on Friday night.
