Clippers baseball closes regular season with win over Indians

The Sturgeon Bay baseball team defeated Mishicot to finish the regular season 12-8 (6-2 in Packerland) with a 5-1 victory.

The Clippers scored the runs they would need to win in the opening frame thanks to a RBI single from Bryce Plzak and a two-RBI single from Steven Prescott. Five Sturgeon Bay pitchers combined to throw a three-hit effort, with Braylon LaRoche finishing it on the mound. Patrick Haese had two hits, and Prescott had two RBI for the Clippers.

The Clippers open Division 2 playoffs with a rematch at Marinette at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
