The Sturgeon Bay Clippers golf team will have one golfer at the upcoming WIAA Golf Sectional.
Congratulations to Tre Wienke on advancing to the sectional round after shooting an 18-hole score of 81, which was tied for sixth place overall. The team took 10th in the regional with a score of 380.
"As a team we came up a little short but it doesn’t take away from the fantastic season we had," head coach Eric Tauschek said post-round. "It was fun seeing the seniors play their last round of high school golf! You will be missed Owen and Luke!"
Wienke will compete again next Tuesday at Crystal Springs Golf Course with a chance to go to state.
