Clippers soccer burned by Blazers

The Sturgeon Bay soccer team could not find the back of the net Thursday night in a 2-0 loss to NEW Lutheran.

“We lost on a PK and a direct kick in the second half so despite loosing, our defense had a pretty solid game,” Desotelle said postgame.

Both teams had four shots on goal, but a couple of whistles made the difference.

“We had a couple of decent opportunities to score in the first half, but it was NEW’s night.  They made the most of their chances to score," Desotelle added.

In goal, Isabella Jimenez Seyfer had eight saves.

Next up for the Clippers is a tournament at Kiel on Saturday.
