The Sturgeon Bay baseball team carried its winning ways to Peshtigo, where it beat the Bulldogs 13-8 in Packerland play, improving to 8-6 (5-1 in Packerland).
Leading 1-0, the Clippers put five up on the Bulldogs in the third, collecting four base hits with a two-run single by Bryce Plzak, the inning's most significant blow. The Clippers saw their 6-0 lead vanish as they took an 8-6 lead into the sixth inning. That's when the Clippers scored another five runs, piecing together a rally capped off by Braylon LaRoche scoring on a passed ball.
Siggy Hansen won on the mound, going 5 1/3, giving up six earned runs. Patrick Haese hit a home run in the fifth inning while Plzak, Hansen, Steven Prescott, and Rylan Ruenger registered two RBI apiece.
