Ethan Kratcha dealt for the Sturgeon Bay Clippers baseball team on Tuesday, striking out 10 while allowing just one run (1 ER) on one hit in a 2-1 win.
The lone Wolves hit came from the very first batter when Braden Leist kicked things off with a single, later coming around to score on a Clippers error. Neither team could generate much until the Clippers' breakthrough in the fourth inning when they took advantage of two errors, one of which scored a pair of runs on a Jack Higginbotham pop fly. Siggy Hansen posted two hits while Caleb Plzak, Kratcha, and Braylon LaRoche each had one in the win.
The Clippers will travel to Luxemburg-Casco to face the Spartans on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Tim Kowols will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 4:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 4:30 p.m.
