Clippers soccer pick up Cream City win

The long ride was worth the effort as the Clippers won 3-0 in Milwaukee Friday night. Midfielder Malaya Martinez had a “hat trick” in scoring all 3 of Sturgeon Bay’s goals and Isabella Jimenez Seyfer had her 4th clean sheet in the win while recording 8 saves. “We had a little more offense tonight and we also improved both our possession time and passing. This was our 4th consecutive shutout out so defensively we are solid as we begin more conference play in the next two weeks.”  Next up for the Clippers, Pulaski at home Monday night. “Pulaski is always challenging game for us. They are a bigger school and a physically tough team. We’ll have definitely need to play at a very high level to stay with them on Monday”.
