The Sturgeon Bay Clippers baseball showed a short memory after losing to Oconto on Thursday, securing a 4-2 win over Wrightstown on Friday.
Bryce Plzak was the winning pitcher, going six innings and striking out eight before Patrick Haese got the save. Caleb Plzak led the Clipper attack with three hits, including the first RBI of the game for the team. His double in the third also drove in a teammate in the Clippers' two-run third inning before Steven Prescott drove in the final run for the team in the seventh inning.
The Clippers' next game is on Monday against Kiel at Capital Credit Union Park in Green Bay.
