The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls' soccer team was shut out by one of the state's top teams on Thursday, losing to Sheboygan Lutheran 5-0.
The Clippers dug their own hole against an already potent Crusaders side with a pair of own goals in the loss. It could have been an even more lopsided loss for the Crusaders if it wasn't for keeper Isabella Jimenez Seyfer's 19 saves and quality play by center backs Riley Anderson and Yarrow Goettelman.
SB opens conference play next Tuesday against the host Door County United team.
