The Sturgeon Bay Lady Clippers fell into a deep hole they could not dig out of on senior night as they lost to Kohler 83-50.
After entering the locker room at halftime down 53-19, the Clippers played much better against the Bombers in the second half, outscoring them 31-30. The Bombers were led by Gwen Elliott with 27 points and Claire Brotz with 18 points. In their final home game of the season, Dasha Yeltysheva paced the Clippers with 29 points, while Regan Kasten poured in 12 points, and Cady Carlson posted seven points.
The Clippers' first-round regional matchup on Tuesday takes them back up to Tomahawk, where they lost to the Hatchets 48-35 last season.
