The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team was able to battle back from some early foul trouble and a five point deficit to take a slim lead, but eventually fell on the road to Three Lakes Monday night 66-47.
Both teams boasted three players in double figures with the host Blue Jays nearly boasting five. The Clippers' Dasha Yeltysheva led all scorers with 21 points as she converted on eight of her ten free throw attempts. Regan Kasten scored 13 points and Cady Carlson added 10 points. The Blue Jays were led by Haylee Barnekow and her 17 points. Malia Szews and Libby Eppler each registered 10 points while Kylee Wilson and Kailyn Fogerty each tallied nine points.
