Sturgeon Bay boys fall to Valders

The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team will have a quick turnaround ahead of them after losing to Valders 70-59 on Monday.

 

Braden Evers led the Clippers with 20 points, while Jackson Starr added 16 points in the loss. They were countered by the Vikings' Will Sieracki and Lucas Spindler, who scored 21 and 20 points respectively in the team's win.

 

The Clippers will keep things non-conference on Tuesday when they play a 6 p.m. game at home against Roncalli. The Jets enter the game with a 13-1 record that places them as the fourth-ranked team in the state at Division 4 according to WisSports. They carry a nine-game winning streak with them to Sturgeon Bay, including a 66-49 win over rival Manitowoc Lutheran on Saturday.
