Clipper boys dominate Tigers

The Sturgeon Bay Clipper boys opened the basketball season with an impressive 87-56 win over the Chilton Tigers Tuesday night.

The Clippers were led by Jackson Starr who poured in 33 points.  Braden Evers tallied 16 more as the Clippers controlled the game and had four players score in double figures.

Clipper Coach Zach Goblisch said after the game, "Overall, I was really proud of our offensive exectution tonight.  The ball moved around well and we were able to get a lot of different guys involved.  It was a great effort to start the season and is something we look to continue to build off of after the Thanksgiving Break."

The Clippers return to the floor on Tuesday, December 3 against Green Bay Southwest for their first home game of the 2024-25 season.
