The Sturgeon Bay Lady Clippers and NEW Lutheran opened up Packerland Conference play on Tuesday night.  Sturgeon Bay trailed 21-13 at halftime and struggled offensively missing a number of shots.  The Clippers played a bit better offensively in the second half but gave up too many scores down low and second shots falling 53-39.  

NEW was led by A. Meerstein with 15, with other scorers E. Laatsch with 13, and I. Beaumont with 12.

Cady Carlson was the Clippers' leading scorer with 14 points--10 in the second half.  Dasha Yeltysheva had 12, Regan Kasten had 10, and Yarrow Goettelman had 3.

Sturgeon Bay continues conference action next Tuesday at Oconto and play next Friday here at home vs. Peshtigo.
