It was a short night for the Sturgeon Bay soccer team as they bested the New Holstein Huskies 9-0 Thursday evening at Clark Field.

The night started with a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner from Sturgeon Bay High School's own Ashlynn Paulsen, and it was just moments later that Zone Weinke put the Clippers on the scoring sheet just 28 seconds into the match with assistance from Finn Stevenson.

The Clippers would have a commanding lead at the half of 8-0. Scorers were Zone Weinke (2), Stevenson (2), Jaylen Reynolds (2), Kayden Klotz (1), and Cole Nessinger (1). Justin Gutierrez added the final goal of the game in the 49th minute.

The Clippers will host St. Mary Catholic Saturday, that game can be heard on U-102.1 with the pregame starting at 6:45pm.
