Sturgeon Bay soccer welcomes Kewaunee on U-102.1

The Sturgeon Bay soccer looks to stay perfect in the Packerland Conference when Kewaunee comes calling Thursday evening.

In their last match, the Clippers took the early lead on a goal by senior forward Kayden Klotz in the 17th minute before hanging on in a 3-2 win over Gibraltar/Sevastopol.Zone Wienke and Daniel Wienke also scored for the Clippers in the win.

The Storm could only muster four shots on net in a 5-0 loss to Providence Academy Monday afternoon. That kept the Storm just below mid-table in the Packerland Conference.

In their first meeting, ten Clippers players scored in the 11-0 Sturgeon Bay victory, including a brace from Kayden Klotz. Cole Nessinger, Daniel Heise, Daniel Wienke, Zone Wienke, Ozzy Langfeldt, Kemal Wienke, Will Estes, Jaylen Reynolds, and Finn Stevenson also scored in the match that ended halfway through the second half.

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call on U-102.1 beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening kick at 6:30 p.m.
