The Sturgeon Bay Clippers forced the mercy rule in the final seconds of Monday's Packerland Conference clash with Algoma Monday night as they won 8-0 at Clark Field.

Kayden Klotz posted a hat trick for the Clippers while Finn Stevenson registered the brace. Jackson Starr, Jaylen Renolds and Will Estes each had one goal. Estes' tally came on a cross from Klotz in the closing minutes of the first half as he was able to use the outside of his right foot to deliver the strike.

The Clippers will hit the road on Tuesday when they play at Luxemburg-Casco beginning at 6:30 p.m.
