Hornets sting Clippers on U-102.1

Sturgeon Bay's swing through Green Bay for soccer matches ended on a sour note Thursday night, falling to Green Bay Preble 6-0.

The Clippers found themselves down 2-0 at the break and went on to give up four goals in a 10-minute span in the second half. Jonathan Olson stopped nine shots for the Clippers, but was victimized by braces registered by Bogdan Tereshchenko and Edwin Santiago and another tally from Cristian Lopez. The Clippers had three shots on goal, all stopped by the Hornets' Eli Alexander.

The Clippers' next game is against Algoma on Monday at Clark Field in Sturgeon Bay. The game will be carried live on U-102.1
