The Door County United swim team will be in its home pool Tuesday night when it hosts a triangular meet.
The United are coming off strong performances at the Jaguar Invite in Ashwaubenon over the weekend. The team finished sixth overall out of twelve total teams, scoring 160 total points. Julia Michalski (SBHS) was the top scorer for individual events for DCU. She scored 32 points with her 5th place finishes in both the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard butterfly. Junior Chloe Bissen (SBHS) had a fantastic meet, adding 14 points to the overall score with her 9th-place finish in the 100 backstroke and her 12th-place finish in the 100 butterfly. All of the relays did extremely well, with some individuals achieving the best times of their careers. Of note, the 200-yard freestyle relay consisting of Chloe Bissen (SBHS), Megan Quaderer (SBHS), Kailyn Neville (SDHS), and Caitlyn Hasenjager (SEV) placed 6th overall with a time of 1:48.10. This was the highest scoring relay of the day.
DCU girls will take on Plymouth High School and Notre Dame Academy in a triangular meet at the Door County YMCA beginning at 6:00 p.m.
