Sturgeon Bay goes back-to-back with home meet Tuesday

It will be two rounds in two days when the Sturgeon Bay girls' golf team welcomes Bay Conference teams to Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay on Tuesday.

 

The Clippers took seventh out of eight teams at Monday's conference meet hosted at Golden Sands Golf Course in Cecil with a score of 227. The Clippers' Keira Wesley led the way for the team with a score of 51, 11 strokes behind meet winner Sophia Eggert of Shawano.  The top 11 golfers all shot sub-50 on the day. Sayde Jeanquart (55) and Hayden Montevideo broke 60 strokes with Tiviana Andropolis (62), and Merrill Kelsey (66) also completing the course. Seymour won the meet with a score of 177.

 

The Clippers will welcome the same teams to their home course on Tuesday with a tee time of 10 a.m. 

 

In other golf action, Luxemburg-Casco will head to Irish Waters Golf Course in Freedom to face Fox Valley Lutheran and Freedom at 10 a.m.
