State-ranked Sheboygan Lutheran (#5 D-4) hosted Sturgeon Bay and won 4-0. Keeper Isabella Jimenez Seyfer had 11 saves in goal. A stingy SB defense limited the high-powered offense in a game that rained from warmups to the final minute. “We knew their offense was high octane, and keeping that offense in check in a steady rain was no easy task. Our starting defensive unit of Captain Maddie Hemminger, Amelia Langfeldt, Libby Sheer, and Yarrow Goettelman had fantastic games.”  This was a terrific tune-up for our upcoming tournament.  Midfielders Alexis Olson and Paula Wienke provided additional support as holding midfielders. Next up for the Clippers, Luxemburg-Casco at their pitch on Tuesday.
