Clippers baseball grounds Flying Dutchmen

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers baseball team used a six-run fifth inning to end their game against Oostburg early in a 12-2 triumph.

 

The Clippers jumped out to a 3-0 win in the first inning and added three more in the third to put the Flying Dutchmen before the fatal fifth.  The Clippers didn't even need that many hits as Patrick Haese had two of the team's three hits. The Flying Dutchmen did what they could to help the Clippers around every turn, walking 12 Clippers batters and committing six errors. Braylon LaRoche and Caleb Plzak were credited with RBI in the win while Brody Kollath earned the win as he went the distance, allowing two runs (0 ER) and six hits across five inning while striking out four innings.


Stats for their game against Chilton show that they were tied 2-2 against Chilton with no conclusion.
