The Sturgeon Bay Clippers baseball team secured a doubleheader sweep of NEW Lutheran in Green Bay on Saturday, beating the Blazers 5-3 and 10-1.

In the first game, the Clippers trailed 2-1 heading into the top of the sixth inning when they played four runs. Caleb Plzak, Brady Kollath, Danny Lodl, Garrett Ulberg, and Braylon LaRoche also drove in runs in the win.  Lodl picked up the win in relief, allowing no hits or runs in 2/3 innings.

The Clippers repeated the feat in game two as they scored four runs again in the sixth inning. The runs were for insurance, as the Clippers were up 6-1 entering the inning. Caleb Plzak did most of the damage, going 3-4 and driving in five runs. Kollath and Lodl also had RBI in the game.
