Clippers boys welcome Menominee Indian on U-102.1 Tuesday

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers boys' basketball team begins their journey to Madison from the friendly confines of their own gym on Tuesday when they welcome Menominee Indian.

 

The Clippers won five of their final seven games, including close losses to conference-leading Southern Door and Kewaunee. In their final game, Calvin Richard poured in 29 points, and Garrett Ulberg added another 11 points in a 70-61 win over NEW Lutheran. Richard and Ulberg are two of the three players averaging double figures on the season. 

 

The Eagles enter the game 3-20 on the season and are currently mired in an eight-game losing streak from January 25th. Barron Waupoose leads the way with over 11 points per game, while Kenew Awonohopay is second in scoring and leads the team in rebounds and assists.
